Unique Exercises For Flabby Arms That You Can Start Doing Today

Some of the best exercises for flabby arms are not going to be done with any 5 pound pink colored dumbbells. There is no way that if you’re using really light weight that you can get rid of that flab behind your arm. In fact, the truth is you can’t spot reduce the fat in any area on your body. No matter how many repetitions you do for an exercise on a certain body part, there is just no way will that body part shrink down. You can firm up the area with exercises so the muscle actually hypertrophies and grows larger to an extent (don’t worry ladies, you won’t turn into the hulk), but other than that if you have a lot of fat covering the area, you won’t be able to see everything.

So first thing you need to do is have your diet in order. If your diet is not in order then you just won’t see the lean muscle tissue that you have built up and developed. You need to really start cutting out all of those bad carbs from breads and pastas. Also get rid of all the junk food in your house. I always live by this rule that if it’s in front of me then I’m going to eat it, especially If it’s in the house and its late at night. This happens to everyone and probably yourself. If it’s in your house then I guarantee you will eat it at some point. It might not be today but it could be tomorrow, or within the next week. So my advice to you is get rid of all the junk food which includes all crackers, pretzels, candy, cake, cookies, ice cream and soda. And like I said before to cut out the bread and pasta, I’m even talking about wheat bread and really any type of bread that you might buy. This is because wheat contains gluten and gluten is not good for you. It causes a host of diseases through inflammation which starts off in your gut and can work itself throughout your body. A lot of the reasons why people can’t lose those extra couple of pounds are because they are so inflamed inside of their body and gluten from supposedly healthy foods like wheat bread and such is the main culprit.

Be sure to also kick up your protein intake throughout the day. Aim for around 1 gram of protein per pound of body weight. Protein is very satiating and is 30% more thermogenic than carbs or fats. This means that your body has to burn that many more calories compared to carbs and fats to digest the stuff. It also has less of a chance of being stored as body fat.

Also you should be getting in a decent amount of cardiovascular exercise on your off days. This can come from any source whether that is jogging outside or inside on the treadmill or the elliptical. You can also use the bike if you’d like. You can go slowly or fast, it doesn’t really matter. However the best type to really burn a lot of calories and lose a lot of fat fast is interval training because it increases your post oxygen consumption and afterburn effect. This just means that because the intensity of the exercise was so much, your metabolism will stay elevated for a long period of time and therefore you’ll burn a significant amount of calories even after your workout is completed.

Now when it comes to some arm exercises for flabby arms, the first big one that I recommend all women start doing is pushups. There are many reasons for this but one of them being is that most women lack a lot of upper body strength and this is something they need to work on. Plus all those pushups are really going to target the back of your arms helping you to firm up that area. There are numerous ways to do them, but the first way you can do them is with your knees on the ground and your arms right underneath your shoulders. From there just simply lower yourself as low as you can go and press straight up. The next exercise I would recommend is behind the head dumbbell skull crushers.

This exercise might sound scary but it’s really not. All you’re going to do is grab a dumbbell and cup it in both hands. From there raise it over your head until your arms are straight over your head and slowly lower it towards the back of your head. You will be hinging at the elbow. Slowly lower it until you feel the stretch in the back of your arms then press it back up.

Another exercise that I usually dislike, but with a twist and is really great for the back of your arms is the triceps kickback with a resistance band. So hook up the resistance band around an object so it’s between chest and waist level, from there, grab the knot of the band right below the handle, take a few steps back and bend at the waist with your chest parallel to the floor. Keep your working arm right against your body and your arm 90 degrees. From there press the resistance band backwards so now your entire arm is parallel to the floor, slowly return while only hinging at your elbow.

So as you can see, these exercises are slightly different then what most people will tell you to do in the gym or at your home to lose the flab around your arms. Most people will tell you to do some form of tricep press downs but those don’t nearly work the back of your arms the best because of the line of resistance and the cable apparatus. Just make sure to have your diet in order, your cardio plan nailed down pat and you will be just alright.

How To Pitch Your Documentary Idea and Write an Effective Documentary Proposal To Get Funding

So you have a wonderful documentary idea and you just need some cash to get it going. Where do you go? How do you find funds?

One of the first things you’ll need to do is write a Documentary Proposal. A proposal not only helps explain the project to potential funders and supporters, it’s a great exercise to get YOU the filmmaker thinking through all the details. Basically, a Documentary Proposal is your film’s business plan.

Here are the key elements you’ll need to include in a documentary proposal: synopsis, project overview, treatment, style/tone of project, production schedule, interview subjects, crew bios, advisors/experts, partnerships, target audience, budget, fundraising plan and distribution strategy.

There is often a lot of overlap when describing the synopsis, project description and treatment. There is no right or wrong answer. One way to think about it is to say that the synopsis is a short 1-2 paragraph summary of your project. The overview is a longer synopsis that goes into more detail about the project, perhaps 1-2 pages in length. And the treatment is more like a script, describing specific scenes and quotes. A treatment is often difficult to write at the beginning of a project since the nature of a documentary is that it can’t be “written” until after it’s been shot, so I would say including a treatment in your proposal is optional unless specifically requested.

An effective documentary proposal will answer the following questions:

Why this documentary, why now?

Why is this documentary different from any other film ever made?

Why are YOU the one to make this documentary?

What gives you and your team the credibility to be trusted with donated money (experience, partnerships, advisory board, fiscal sponsor, letters of support, etc)

What unique access or connections do you have for making the film?

The big picture goal for a documentary pitch or documentary proposal is to build CREDIBILITY. You do that by putting together a well-written proposal, having an experienced team (if not you, that can be crew, advisors or partners), having a compelling film concept, a well-thought out plan and a realistic budget.

Once you have your proposal together, now it’s time to start making your pitch. If you are a new filmmaker, my best advice is to avoid the big foundations and grants and go after the “low hanging fruit.” Find people who are already passionate about the subject matter of your film and see what connections they have. Basically, you want to go through the “back door” to find your funding. Maybe a friend’s uncle is the CEO of a local million dollar company. Or perhaps your favorite college professor is friends with the executor of a small family foundation. Leave no rock left unturned.

The last thing you want to do is say, hey, who’s the richest guy in town and let’s go after him. Does the guy already have a proven interest in the subject of your film or in art/film projects? Do you know someone with a personal connection to the guy who can pitch the project on your behalf? If no, then don’t waste your time or theirs.

Find natural connections to people who are already pre-sold on the theme of your documentary project and send them your proposal. They already know the subject matter of the film is important, now all you have to do is convince them that YOU know how to get the job done.

Interchanging Poetry of Memory Recall Related to Undocumented History

The inability to recall from memory the act of being born is similar to what we are often unable to recall or begin to recall with less detail as we age. I believe the lack of recall is a protective mechanism of how the brain preserves itself against the two largest indubitable realities of life…birth and death. We have no way of knowing, but maybe the young mind and the very old mind are genetically programmed against recall.

Recall

I remember

every moment

I spent in the womb

and

being born;

I just cannot recall it.

From about three years of age we remember our accomplishments, the highs, lows, and defeats with vivid detail. Most of us will continue to recall memories until we finally achieve the status of elderly. As aging continues, we may experience difficulty with memory recall. We may reprioritize the importance of accomplishments or interest may decline causing our opinion about accomplishment to change.

Accomplishment

Accomplishment dictates,

there are winners,

and,

there are not winners;

in accomplishment,

there are no losers.

There are memories that become more vivid with age. We may not be able to recall what we had for breakfast, we can remember every moment of significant events that had long term consequences such as events in our children’s lives, loss of family members and friends, or in too many cases war; of course, there are many others. These are the memories that must be documented for future generations. This is the stuff that defines a life, and is most frequently lost because of ignorance of its importance, or simply failure to listen and document their fleeting thoughts and forgotten memories.

Fleeting Thoughts

We write our thoughts not to forget,

but,

to record a moment of fleeting thought

shared from memory,

then gone forever.

Thoughts converted to memories as age surges

toward twilight;

expressed as vivid reenactments of history

and genealogy.

To let memory pass into obscurity

decry the sadness that exists

in the mind of man.

We write our thoughts,

not to forget,

but to record,

to learn what the mind is teaching as

fleeting thoughts flow through the mind,

soon lost forever.

Forgotten Memories

retain history

those forgotten memories

grown vivid with age

Of all things we experience or must experience in life, death is the most dreaded and feared. The fact that none of us will survive life does not lessen its impact. We question death as no other topic. Is there a continuation of life or only darkness of which there will never be memory? If I do not believe in a God, is there only darkness or is there eternal suffering in Hell? If God is merciful, even if I do not believe, will I be able to gain entrance into Heaven? The questions are never-ending; the only question we can answer about death, it will come to each of us in its own good time.

Yet leading to our last days, are ironies, waiting, aging, and memories.

Irony

More will attend your wedding,

than,

will attend your funeral.

Waiting

waiting for my time

until then,

I will enjoy

life with my children

Aging

As I age, memory fades.

As time passes,

I remember less

what was perceived.

I look into the mirror

several times a day

to remember.

Soon,

all passes into obscurity.

Memories

every generations memory,

of the way it used to be

fond memories of the past,

memories that never last

stored away in the mind,

triggered late in life,

one last time

every generation the same,

childhood experiences abound

forgotten for awhile,

later will be found,

as life ebbs,

a smile of contentment presides,

as memories flood into the light,

eyes close gently one last time,

as life ends,

new life begins

Finally comes the moment none of us looks forward to experiencing, our Death.

Never Again

The dead breathe not

the sweet taste of night air.

Silence betrays their presence

with the stagnant scent of decay.

In the cool evening,

heat no longer emanates

from the furnace,

that once was fueled

by the constant stream

of aerosolized gases,

exchanged with each respiration.

Coins no longer cover eyes

as payment for the boat keeper.

The dead lie enveloped

in silk lined enclosures

with silver tassels.

They breathe not the sweet taste

of night air again.

Forgotten

In death, a journey comes to an end.

Death’s journey through life ends with

a gathering of family and friends

who reflect and comfort each,

saddened by the life lost to them.

The defining moment of worth on display,

no longer able to express emotion,

a waxen replica of what was.

Those who now pass reminisce

then weep the tears of loss;

laugh as they remember great times.

So many memories buried,

now surface for a time,

again will be buried in the same manner.

Mourned for a time,

memories fade with each generation,

until, no memory remains.

A journey has come to an end.

A piece of history lost again.

Memory and the ability to recall diminish as time passes; we take for granted the lives we live. The most fortunate are those who take time to document the history of their family members. As of May 2011, there were 2,079,000 of our warriors from WWII, dying at a rate of about 1,000 per day. Those remaining, not only from WWII, but from Korea, Vietnam, and all conflicts in which we have been involved have memories begging to be documented.

Memories are the legacy of those who were famous for the actions and deeds that defined their lives, including those we have been fortunate to know and love. Through the documentation of their experiences, their legacy is protected and passed generation to generation.

No matter what we forget, let us not forget our history departing on a new journey every day. When life ends, history is lost forever. This article is based on my experience with the elderly within my family group. For most, we did not document their experiences and those are now lost to us. It is sad to know within 50 years, there will be no one who will remember their name much less their life accomplishments. If we had written memories of their lives, it would be treasured and eventually become the story of generations of family members to be cherished as a part of history.

What You Need to Know About Social Networking Sites

Social networking allows people to communicate with other people on a global scale. People are given the opportunity to find old friends or make new ones. This new world of socialising online gives disease and illness sufferers many platforms such as medical blogs, live health chat, videos and much more.

Health related social networking sites have transcended the traditional role of health centers. In more recent times, we have seen some very positive articles on this emerging market. It seems that the idea has finally landed in higher grounds, when the health content found on these sites, have been derived from disease and illness sufferers. However, who is to say that the content seen on these sites is accurate. Sure, disease and illness sufferers don’t know everything about health conditions. But what they do know is the condition they are suffering with, and they want to write about their condition, their symptoms and their experiences.

Some social networking sites are moving away from the common recreational environment. Social networking sites are moving towards a healthier environment, where people dealing with life-altering illnesses and diseases can experience networking with others suffering from similar conditions. These sites are now becoming a resourceful tool for people with a specific purpose, and that being having the ability to connect and communicate with others on a global scale, who are also dealing with similar diseases and illnesses, and have the ability to provide information, support, and encouragement.

In recent times, a number of niche social networking sites have blossomed. The following social networking sites contain quite a large number of registered members, but none of which have health communities dedicated to disease or illness sufferers:

- Vitals have 12,000 members,

- Rate MDs have 33,000 members,

- Organised Wisdom have 25,000 members,

- Patients Like Me have 65,000 members, and

- Sermo have 195,000 members.

There are no real health equivalents to Facebook, Twitter or Wikipedia. Most health related content on the Internet still flows top-down, from established institutions or dedicated encyclopedia sites. Google and other general search engines are the main portals in searching for health related information.

In high demand for disease or illness sufferers is a global health related social networking site, with real health communities, populated by disease and illness sufferers. The appeal to have real value content, written by disease and illness sufferers, has increased in these very narrow niche markets.

The life cycle of health related social networking sites are in its early stages of this niche market. Each player in this niche market needs to have a sound and differentiated strategy to grow and transition in this tight niche market.

What Is A Detox Diet? Understand a Detox Diet Before You Go For It

Do you know exactly what a detox diet is? It is actually a powerful technique which helps to eliminate and remove harmful toxins accumulated in our bodies for optimal health.

There are different kinds of detox diets in the market. Those include eating raw food, vegetables and fruits which are all designed to improve the frequency of urination. It sounds easy and simple but it is best if you can get the expert’s advice before you try it out yourself.

You might not believe in the benefits of detox diets if you do not experience anything wrong in your body previously but all studies and researches recommend that our bodies’ function will eventually go wrong when too much dangerous toxins has accumulated inside our bodies after some time.

Majority of us only start to take serious action when we face with some problems in our bodies like nutritional deficiency, hormonal imbalance or inefficient digestion. But think it wisely. Why should we always wait until problems arise before we take any action? In fact, prevention is the best cure against any illness.

Other than expelling dangerous toxins out from our bodies, detox diet also improves our energy level, mind concentration and body digestion. After the detoxification process, you can even see that your skin is getting fairer and clearer.

Before you decide to start a detox diet plan, you need to understand that there could be some side effects. The most common side effect that you will face during the first few days is headache problem. This is especially obvious if you drink coffee on a regular basis. However, you can minimise the side effect by decreasing the amount of caffeine gradually until you no longer need the caffeine anymore.

The next common side effect is none other than diarrhea. If the diarrhea is not treated properly, it may even lead to dehydration. Nevertheless, sometime the opposite, i.e. constipation may happen on certain individuals. You can prevent both side effects by drinking lots of water. Other side effects that may happen at the beginning stage are fatigue, weight loss or even acne.

All these side effects are something that we should take note and be prepared before starting a detox diet. Apart from that, we must note that no everyone is suitable for it. Pregnant women as well as young kids are not suitable for it.

Furthermore, you should only try it under the supervision of your medical doctors if you are currently diagnosed with cancer, anemia, immune system disease, diabetes, thyroid disease, certain genetic disease, kidney disease or any other chronic disease. This is crucial and should not be neglected.

The detox diet is only for a short period of time as it may result in nutrient deficiencies if this is done for a long period of time without proper guidance and supervision. Thus, it is advisable to perform the it only once or twice a year.

For those under certain medication, you should continue with the medication unless permitted by your medical doctor.

When the detox diet plan is complete, you can go back to your usual diet with some positive changes in your diet like eating more vegetables and healthy fruits.

Now, you already have a better understanding of what detox diet is, you can decide whether you want to try this out or not. It is definitely good for the body if this is done in a proper manner. Hence, get some useful guidance and coaching before you start your detox diet journey!

Asking for Help Could Save You From Your Underwear

Asking for help is contrary to our culture and our modern society. As a woman, I can struggle with pride and the whispering voices telling me “I must be self-sufficient”. Imagine my horror as I found myself hopelessly tangled in my own underwear.

There I was standing alone in the bathroom. My dominant arm neatly bound in a cast and locked at a right angle. I had successfully completed the complicated effort of showering and I now tackled the new skill of getting dressed one-handed. I had facilitated this “season” of healing by investing in tank tops with built-in bras, since I refused to ask anyone for help fastening my traditional undergarments.

This was a brilliant solution to living without my very dominant right arm. Or so I thought.

I managed to get said tank top over my bad arm and slipped my head through the neck opening.

Honestly I don’t know what went wrong.

In the blink of an eye my top had come to life and captured my only good arm- trapping me helplessly in my own “solution” to maintaining independence.

I hollered for help from my husband (who made matters worse by finding my predicament not only amusing, but irresistible as well).

In less than a minute I was freed from my own shirt and as angry as a disturbed wasps nest. My husband smiled, told me he loved me and wisely left me to relish the fruit of my efforts to maintain my self-sufficiency. Stupid me.

Lesson learned: it’s best to see myself as I really am. Right now, I am temporarily disabled, yet surrounded by a family who is more than willing to help me through this time. The truth is that it takes humility to ask for and accept assistance. But considering the humiliating alternative, I will be much quicker to let others come alongside.

Life is funny. One day we walk around in full health and strength. Without warning we can find ourselves on our backs, stuck in bed, or bound by a sling. We can choose to go it alone and wind up like me- mummy wrapped and trapped by our own underwear. Or, we can recognize we are not perfect and ask for and accept help when necessary.

Learn from my mistake. Ask for help. Smile when it comes. Look for opportunities to assist others. And for Petes sake don’t try to put on an athletic style shirt unless you have use of both hands!

Treating Light, Sound, Touch and EMF Sensitivity

Amino acids are the raw nutrients needed to manufacture neurotransmitters.

Neurotransmitters are chemicals that are used to relay, amplify and modulate electrical signals between a neuron and another cell. The three major categories of substances that act as neurotransmitters are:

amino acids (primarily glutamic acid, GABA, aspartic acid & glycine),

peptides (vasopressin, somatostatin, neurotensin, etc.) and

monoamines (norepinephrine, dopamine & serotonin) plus acetylcholine.

The major “workhorse” neurotransmitters of the brain are glutamic acid (glutamate) and GABA. The monoamines & acetylcholine perform specialized modulating functions, often confined to specific structures. The peptides perform specialized functions in the hypothalamus or act as co-factors elsewhere in the brain.

What do neurotransmitters do?

Neurotransmitters help regulate pain, reduce anxiety, promote happiness, initiate deep sleep, and boost energy and mental clarity. The neurotransmitters that cause excitatory reactions are known as catecholamines. Catecholamines, epinephrine and norepinepherine (adrenaline) are derived from the amino acid phenylalanine. Inhibitory or relaxing neurotransmitters include serotonin and gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA).The neurotransmitter serotonin is produced from the amino acid tryptophan. GABA is produced from the amino aid glutamine.

Sound sensitivity, light sensitivity, touch sensitivity, and EMF sensitivity – are they related?

It is believed that sound sensitivity is caused by serotonin imbalance. Researchers at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine have also determined that serotonin decreases the body’s sensitivity to light. Since people who have sensitivity to both light and sound often have touch sensitivity and EMF sensitivity, it is reasonable to hypothesize that these neurally mediated symptoms are all related to serotonin deficiency.

Treating sound, light, touch and EMF sensitivity

The neurotransmitter serotonin is produced from the amino acid tryptophan, which is no longer allowed to be sold over the counter. However, 5-HTP (5-hydroxytryptophan) is the direct precursor to serotonin, and is available at most stores that carry supplements. 5-HTP is usually sourced from the seeds of the Griffonia Simplicifolia plant. Production of 5-HTP as a supplement increased when L-tryptophan was banned in the United States because of a tainted batch which caused serious side-effects in users.

5-HTP has many advantages over L-tryptophan. Besides being safer to produce and arguably more potent, it easily crosses the blood-brain barrier and effectively increases central nervous system (CNS) synthesis of serotonin. Its role as an intermediary in the biosynthesis of serotonin indicates that this chemical may indeed be effective in treating serotonin-related disorders.

Intestinal absorption of 5-HTP does not require the presence of a transport molecule, and is not affected by the presence of other amino acids; therefore it may be taken with meals without reducing its effectiveness.

Amino acids are the “building Blocks” of the body. Besides building cells and repairing tissue, they form antibodies to combat invading bacteria & viruses. They are part of the enzyme and hormonal system, they build nucleoproteins (RNA & DNA), they carry oxygen throughout the body and they participate in muscle activity. When protein is broken down by digestion the result is 22 known amino acids. Eight are essential (meaning they cannot be manufactured by the body) the rest are non-essential (and can be manufactured by the body with proper nutrition).

Supplementation with amino acids has been shown to reduce light, sound, touch and EMF sensitivity by making more of the “building blocks” necessary for neurotransmitter formation available to the body.

Stress is an all-purpose term for anything that causes the body to activate its “stress circuit,” the process designed to mitigate upsetting events. When the brain receives a disturbing signal, the hypothalamus immediately releases corticotropin-releasing hormone (CRH), which causes the pituitary gland to release another hormone, adrenocorticotropin (ACTH). ACTH tells the adrenal glands to release yet more hormones, including cortisol, while related neurological signals stimulate the release of epinephrine (adrenaline) and norepinephrine.

These hormones place the body in a ‘flight-or-fight syndrome’ in which the blood pressure, heart rate, and body temperature rise; and the muscles get ready to tense. People with a chronic illness tend to live in the ‘fight-or-flight syndrome’ all the time.

Stress can exhaust the body’s mental and physical resources. The body processes that occur during stress use up an inordinate amount of nutrients, leaving the body nutritionally deficient. A nutritionally deficient body does not have the resources (amino acids) necessary to make the critically important neurotransmitters needed by the brain to prevent light, sound, touch and EMF sensitivity.

Other important nutrients for overcoming light, sound, touch and EMF sensitivity include B-6, magnesium, and potassium. B-6 helps transform tryptophan into serotonin. Magnesium helps the brain release and absorb serotonin.

Should I Tell My Children They Have Dyslexia Or Not?

When you find out that your child is dyslexic often the first question that comes to mind is whether or not you should tell your child that they have dyslexia. There is truly no right or wrong way to answer this question.

• It Is Your Decision

There are going to be people of all kinds that are willing to share with you their thoughts about whether or not you should tell your child that he is dyslexic. It would not hurt to listen to what they have to say if they have experience in this type of situation. However the ultimate choice is up to you. After a certain point of reading and listening to everyone’s opinion you will come to a decision of your own.

• Telling Them They Have Dyslexia

Some parents will decide before a diagnosis is even given what they are going to tell family, friends and even their child with dyslexia. They will plan out every word so the child and related friends, family, schools and anyone involved with the child’s life will understand just what is happening, what to expect, and what will be changing.

• Not Telling Them They Have Dyslexia

For some parents telling their child is something they are not ready for due to the lack of understanding fully what dyslexia is for their child. They are not certain what impact it would have telling their child about their diagnosis. After thinking about the decision whether or not to tell the child they are dyslexic, parents typically come to a decision of a yes or no.

• How You Feel

The way you feel when you find out your child is dyslexic can impact your decision on whether or not you are going to tell your child. Understanding your feelings will impact the way you will tell your child and how you will help your child.

• Your Child With Dyslexia

Good timing is a consideration that should be taken before telling your child they are dyslexic. Some children will respond differently to the news, you are the only one that knows when the appropriate time to tell your child is.

As stated before there is no right or wrong way of telling your child they are dyslexic. You can decide to not tell them until they are mature enough to understand exactly what it is and how you are helping them. You also have the right to tell them when you find out your child is dyslexic so they will know from the get go why they have difficulties learning.

How to Build a Golf Cart for Off-Roading

An off-road golf cart is a lot of fun driving through the woods or on rough terrain, but building your own cart is an even more satisfying experience because you did it yourself and saved a lot of money. It’s easy to modify a golf cart for this kind purpose. It’s best to start with a reliable well-maintained used golf cart. The parts and supplies needed can be found in specialty stores and even cheaper on the Internet.

There are many accessories that you can add to your cart. Here is a list of modifications to get you started:

Lift Kits: Lift kits are suspension parts that lift the body of your golf cart to go over off-road terrain. These kits are necessary not only for raising the height of the golf cart but they add a stronger suspension to the vehicle. Driving off-road exposes you to a variety of ditches and terrain that a lower profile cart would get hung up on. Without these kits you could injure yourself or damage the cart. There are many different kinds of lift kits. They come in 3 inch, 6 inch and higher. The lift kit prices range from $300 to $600 depending on lift height and suspension complexity.

Steering Wheels: Steering wheels though not a necessity add to a better driving experience. An attractive steering wheel not only adds to the appearance of your vehicle, but they provide a better grip and less fatigue on your hands and wrists. Your steering wheel should be 13 inches in diameter. You have many choices in style of steering wheel like wood grain, formula car, European, and neoprene. Expect to pay $45 for the neoprene to $190 for the Formula Gt steering wheel.

Golf Cart Windshields: Most stock golf carts do not come with a windshield. But you’re going to need one for going off-road. You will encounter mud and dirt as you drive, not to mention the occasional branch. If you’re not sure about the need for a windshield get one that folds down so you have an option to use it or not. Windshield prices run from $100 to $200 depending if they fold down, style of frame, and thickness of the acrylic.

ATV Tires: Of course you can’t use stock golf cart tires, you have to upgrade them to All Terrain Vehicle tires. You need them for their durability on rough terrain and to give you maximum grip on muddy ground. When purchasing tires you will have a vast selection of rim and tire combinations. It’s best to skip the low profile tires and get a tire with good traction and tread. The 23×10.5-12 All Trail Tire with the alloy rims is the way to go for great traction and style in all types of terrain. Tire and rim combinations can run you between $45 and $140. This is the most important part of your off-roading upgrades, don’t skimp in this department.

This is all you need to build a first class machine. But if you want an even more tricked out machine you can add light packages, dashboard kits, fender flares, cargo boxes, and hunting accessories.

Get ready to have some enjoyable times out in the country with your new Off-Road Cart. It’s a great inexpensive alternative to purchasing a new ATV.

Birth Control and the Importance of Choice

In weighing birth control options, “How much is plan B?” is a vital question to ask. Each birth control method differs from the other, and these differences aren’t manifested only in terms of cost. They differ in the way they are administered, in how often they need to be used, in how long they stay effective, in their possible side effects, and others. Also, each birth control method needs to fit the needs of the person who wants to use it, so it’s mostly on a case-by-case basis. However, before even beginning to weigh these options, people first need to understand exactly what this is all about.

Birth control or contraception is an important aspect of family planning. All living beings are precious, and the quality of life is something we need to guard conscientiously. When babies are born in this world, it should be because they are wanted. It should be because their parents are excited to see them and give them full, quality lives. Raising a child is an enormous responsibility, and only those who are ready to take that responsibility should do it. This is precisely one of the reasons why contraceptives exist. Contraceptives are there to prevent any unwanted pregnancies, thereby ensuring the quality of life – not only for the babies that do get born, but for the children who are already here. Various methods of birth control have been used to plan the spacing between children, and families are all the better for it. Timing is a very important part of family planning, because not only should they ask themselves if they are responsible enough to raise a child, they should also ask themselves if NOW is a good time to do so. This proactive stance parents take is admirable, because it shows that they are really giving a lot of thought into planning their family life.

Of course, this isn’t just about family planning. It is also useful for a lot of health reasons. Some contraceptives have been used to prevent the spreading of sexually transmitted diseases, which continue to affect so many people everywhere in the world. We live in different times, and people are free to make their own choices, but to be responsible about those choices is another thing. No sexually active adult in the right mind would risk contracting a sexually transmitted disease if properly educated about it and the ways to prevent it. This is another reason why contraceptives exist.

At the end of the day, this is about the choices we make. Choosing to practice birth control is actually about taking responsibility for your sexual life. But the choice does not end there. Birth control is not a bag of jelly beans that people pick randomly from. You know your individual needs, so the next step is to fit those needs with the various options available. The bottom line is that it’s important to make an informed choice when it comes to birth control, and because information is now readily available, this shouldn’t be too hard to do.
